Donation to Susu x Gear Home in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Susu x Gear Home serves youth and young adults through their running training program and extra-curricular programs.
250 brand new English books were donated to Susu x Gear Home to launch their English reading program for youth.

Bookjah @ SuSu X Gear
Home We are thrilled to share that Bookjah has donated 60 additional English books to Susu x Gear Home (SGH), bringing the lifetime total to over 300 books! Beyond the English titles, Bookjah also provided a cash donation to SGH to purchase local Khmer-language books for their library, ensuring the children have access to stories in their native tongue. To celebrate the partnership, Samantha also shared Bookjah book bags with Susu Running Club founder, Elaine.

Book-jah Fundraising Hike
On Nov 8, a group of Hong Kong South Island School students joined together and did a fundraising hike for Book-jah.

Book-jah supports Hong Kong local charity -
St. Barnabas Society and Home
St. Barnabas Society and Home serves underprivileged families, home alone elderly, and homeless people in the Hong Kong western district. Book-jah donated beautiful illustrated books to children who participated in the SBSH Christmas party on December 20.


Christmas bazaar at German Swiss International School
In the school year of 2025-2026, Book-jah is selected as a student-led extracurricular program at German Swiss International School.
On November 29, Book-jah participated in the annual school Christmas Bazaar and did fundraising for the book purchase to school libraries and reading corners in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Student designed T-shirt and book bags were featured at the fair.

Missions market at Union Church
Book-jah was invited to participate in the Union Church Christmas Missions Market. Children's books T-shirts, and book bags were sold and all proceeds go to book purchase for school libraries and reading corners in Cambodia.

The Book-jah team had the first fundraising event of the 2025-26 school year - a lemonade sale @ German Swiss International School.
With the support of the school community, more than 150 bottles of lemonade were sold! The proceeds will go toward the purchase of new books for the Pleroma School for Girls library and also the Book-jah Reading Corners for Susu Running Club in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Bookjah team in collaboration with the Union Church mission team ran a 5-day reading and writing workshop for the students at Pleroma School For Girls. Throughout the week, we worked on reading comprehension, pronunciation, persuasive writing, and creative interpretation through acting in still images.

The first Bookjah Reading Corner at the Dangkao Community Centre is a fantastic step toward fostering a love for learning among children in the Dangkao Dumphill community. The rotating bookshelf with books and games is a creative way to keep the materials engaging and accessible.

A book drive was held at the German Swiss International School just before the end of the school year. Over 200 children's books were collected ! The books will go to the Bookjah! Reading Corner project.
